  1. ADA Compliance Checklist for Digital Assets (last updated: 12/6/24)
    1. This checklist is organized by digital asset type and lists the accessibility formatting criteria for each (e.g., LMS, links, images, text, etc.). This is a great one to print for quick reference.
  2. ADA Compliance Checklist Explained (last updated: 12/6/24)
    1. This document is complementary to the checklist and explains each criteria in more detail. Instructions and support resources for how to meet each criteria are also provided.
  3. Captions and Transcripts Decision Tree (last updated: 7/30/21)
    1. If you are unsure if a video or presentation requires captions or a transcript, you can use this decision tree to determine the best course of action. Three format options are provided; choose the one that works best for you.

Accessibility Checkers

  1. Microsoft Accessibility Checkers reviews your documents, presentations, spreadsheets, etc. for accessibility issues.
  2. WAVE Web Accessibility Evaluation Tool looks at a live website to provide a detailed list of accessibility-related errors, alerts, and more.
  3. WebAIM Color Contrast Checker analyzes the color contrast between foreground and background colors using the RGB numbers or hex values.
