There are many options to learn how to create accessible digital assets and these ones have been created here at Orbis. You can choose below from more in depth Rise courses, to quick how-to videos, and past workshops from QA with hands on activities. All of the links below are linked to documents in Box and are restricted to internal use only; your Orbis credentials are required to access them.

Document Accessibility Formatting Workshop July 2022

      Workshop Outcomes

    1. Demonstrate awareness of the document formatting resources in the ADA Resources section of the Instructional Services Resources knowledge base.
    2. Review when it is and is not appropriate to reformat inaccessible documents.
    3. Recognize the criteria that make documents accessible.
    4. Identify the various options to making documents accessible depending on the amount of time available.

    3. Discuss the appropriate action and response to the caption request scenario.
