Your Orbis Assessment Technology Team is dedicated to focusing on improved efficiency on exam support,
testing equipment, Chromebook support, and plagiarism detection support.
They work to provide access, assistance, and information to help navigate and utilize
Chi Tester, BigBlueButton, the Respondus Lockdown Browser, and the Turnitin software.

- What is Chi Tester?
- Chi Tester is a web‑based testing platform used to create, deliver, and manage high-stakes exams online. Exams and assessments are stored on a secure server, which allows verified students to take them at scheduled times and locations. The system automatically scores responses and provides detailed Item Analysis to instructors.

- What is a Chromebook?
- A Chromebook is a fast, secure, and affordable laptop that runs Google’s cloud‑based Chrome OS. Chromebooks are enrolled into our Orbis Managed Google Workspace, which allows for granular control over settings and provides students with secure devices for testing.

- An online classroom for live lectures, discussions, and recorded sessions.
- What is Respondus LockDown Browser?
- A secure browser used for online exams that blocks other websites and apps.

- A plagiarism‑detection tool that shows how much of an assignment matches other sources and helps instructors review originality.
