E-Learning Development creates assets used within the LMS to help students with topics that are more challenging or not well covered in the text or other resources. All are designed to ensure everyone has the tools and resources they need to succeed in their program.
The ELD Team is also responsible for branding these assets, depending on the partner requesting them.

Areas of Support
Canvas Course Templates
The team maintains and supports the following:
- Home page banner updates
- Updates to Student Resources and Faculty Resource courses
- Help with HTML formatting of pages
Course Materials
The team builds and maintains the following:
- Infographics
- Presentations/Storyline
- Rise
- SCORM
- Simple Learning objects (e.g., matching)
Some examples of their work include Case Studies (Mr. Mann), Concept Maps, Interactive Sites (Hypersensitivity), Infographics (NCLEX), and Student Success Modules.
Canvas Training
The team created a Canvas Training to help navigate and use Course Templates.
The course covers:
- HTML Basics
- Home Page
- Modules Tab
- Learning Objects and Presentations
- Assignments, Discussions, and Quizzes
Along with other Tips and Tricks to help you on your way!
Other Areas of Support and Updates
The ELD Team provides additional support with Canvas Course Materials and Templates.
- Does something not look right on a course page?
- Are the icons not showing up?
- Is the alignment wonky?
- Does there need to be an update to the banners due to a course title or number change?
- Is the Canvas guide link in the Student Resources course broken?
Submit a Zoho Ticket if any of the above areas, etc., require support (e.g., a broken link) or if a student is experiencing issues.
Reach out to us via our E-Learning Development Project Dashboard (Requests) if you have a specific request or need updates.
